Wow, I'm surprised how much William Shatner gave up on the Howard Stern Show today. Wasn't his dead wife thing previously off limits? Remember when he was roasted no one was allowed to bring it up? I guess since he put it in the book, he had to talk about it on the show. I thought it was one of the best interviews in a long time. Whatever that TV thing is that brought everyone to New York should happen all the time. Yesterday and today were decent shows with the guests they managed to nab.

I don't normally enjoy a lot of 'celebrity' interviews, but Shatner was great the other day!

It was actually nice to hear him admit to being an asshole during his Star Trek years. I think Shatner realizes he is a bit of an egomaniac, and it was pretty big of him to admit it. We've all got our personal baggage and I appreciate when someone is willing to accept their character flaws like that.

I remember when his wife died and the speculation surrounding him. I assume he didn't want to talk about for so long because he was still grieving. As far as the roast goes, I don't blame him...it's one thing to sit there and take a roasting about yourself, but that situation truly isn't something to be joked about. It's disrespectful to his late wife, her family and him.

Haha...I also loved the short snippet they played of his version of Mr. Tamborine...oh, that was truly sad and hilarious! 'I'm ...not...sleepy...and...and...there is...NO place I'm going to!'
