I rarely tune into Bubba the Love Sponge, but I listened on Wednesday when Stuttering John called in. How could any Howard Stern fan not tune in? It all started when Howard completely lost it because of John shooting his mouth off on Adam Carolla. John was scheduled to do Bubba, and Bubba asked Gary and Howard whether he should still have him on. Gary and Howard apparently told him that it was fine and even that he should conduct a fair interview. Gary also said that Bubba is the closest thing he has to Howard getting the stuff from the horse's mouth.

Bubba did conduct a fair interview, even asking a lot of the questions that were brought up on the Howard Stern Show and on the Wrap-Up Show. He clearly listened to these shows or was given a set of questions by Gary.

So why didn't Howard mention any of this on the show yesterday? Maybe he didn't want to give Stuttering John any more promotion, but It seemed like it was a slam to Bubba who conducted a good interview, basically on Howard's behalf. Anyone listen to Bubba yesterday, and did he mention the slight?
