So, it looks like there's a good chance Mr. Artie Lange will be back Monday...at least according to what he said last night. What's the likeliest scenario?
Howard will probably say something like "Artie is here and wants to explain himself."
Artie will say that he and Teddy worked things out, that he's sorry, and that he's going to see a shrink. Howard may announce some sort of probation to appease people who may be rubbed the wrong way by all of this.
What does everyone else think will happen? Also, what will Robin say? She seemed genuinely pissed about the whole thing.

I guess anything's possible...your scenario certainly sounds realistic.
Maybe he'll confess to being on smack again, or in serious health trouble.
Who knows...there could still be disciplinary action taken. All he said was that he'd be there Monday, that doesn't necessarily mean that Sirius has discussed any punishment with him yet. That would most likely take place AT the workplace, not over the phone.
All we know is Artie isn't leaving the show, which is good. That doesn't necessarily mean that Sirius plans on keeping him, though I think they'd be stupid to buy out his contract and lose such a talent.
I guess we'll all know Monday.
Your scenario sounds right on the money. And truthfully, I hope it does go that way. When we started speculating about who could possibly fill Artie's shoes, the prospects looked bleak and depressing.
As long as they don't coddle him and they give it to him good and spin it into good radio, I'll be happy. I love that slob.

I really don't think this was a 'hoax bit'...but people are crazy if they think Sirius isn't loving EVERY second of all this.
When's the last time the HSS has gotten so much buzz from it's fans? The gossip mill is running rampant right now, we're loving this.
Artie's fuck up may be one of the best things he's ever done for the show! lol
But, I agree...I'd be pissed if this was a scam. But, I'd have to say Artie deserves an Academy Award.

HAHA, that is true. He really can't act for shit. So, if this is a scam... he needs to do whatever he does on the show during these bits and put it into his acting.
