MelodyR got me thinking when she suggested that JD take Artie Lange's place. Most of the staff outside of the Fab Five (Fab Four now?) are probably best taken in small doses. The Stern Show should rotate these people. Every day, a new person could sit in. Let's see. The pool could be something like JD, Sal, Richard, Jon Hein. Who else? I guess it can't be someone like Scott the Engineer or Gary who have jobs to do during the live show.

I've always thought that JD, Sal, and Richard have been teased in front of me. It seems like just when they are getting interesting, Howard goes onto a different topic and kicks them out. But if they sat in for a whole show, I think it would be really entertaining.
