Keith Russell Ablow (born 23 November 1961 in Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA) is a psychiatrist, writer, and was host/executive producer of the The Dr. Keith Ablow Show..
He attended Brown University and Johns Hopkins Medical School. While a medical student, he worked as a reporter for Newsweek and a freelancer for the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun, as well as a medical editor and producer for Lifetime Medical Television in New York and Los Angeles. He did his psychiatry residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center hospitals and continued to write. After residency, Ablow served as medical director of the Tri-City Mental Health Centers and then went on to become medical director of Heritage Health Systems.
Prior to his own show, he had appeared on such shows as The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, The Tyra Banks Show, CNN's Nancy Grace and Court TV's Catherine Crier Live. Since his show's cancellation, has been a contributing editor to Good Housekeeping Magazine. , and has been a frequent guest on various Fox News Channel shows, and The Today Show.
