Hey....
Maybe JD can take Artie's seat. He's as articulate as Artie these days and as far as I know he doesn't do Heroin, snort cupcakes or drown his sorrows in Hawaiian punch and I doubt he would be violent towards anyone ;-))
Plus...I love the kid and all of his quirks ;-)

I really think JD should go in the direction of Stuttering John. They brought up sending him out for celebrity interviews recently, and I think that's a fantastic idea.
JD is the best when he's squirming. The Hawaiian mother revelation was great because he didn't really want to talk about it. I'm not sure how much of that stuff is left with him. Otherwise, to have him simply be a supporting personality would be a lot of dead air. The poor kid is afraid to talk and give his opinions. He'd just let Howard and Robin do all the work and spitter and sputter when he was asked a question.

Although he'd be a pretty good fit for the job, I think Howard would hesitate hiring Bob Levy full time because he has a lot of the same problems Artie has. I believe the last time he was on the show, he said that he was back on booze and cocaine. They are probably going to try to stay away from people with such problems.
I also don't think they will hire a woman. Yeah, Lisa Lampanelli would be fantastic, but they won't alter the male-to-female ratio. Robin has always been the only female, and I don't think they'd risk changing that at this point.
