"My Wife and Kids" actress Jennifer Freeman is being accused of assaulting her partner, NBA player Earl Watson. In legal papers filed by Watson last week, Jennifer is said to have attacked Watson because he was suspicious about a text message she had gotten at about close to midnight. Watson also had filed for divorce following the fight, seeking sole custody of the their 10-month-old daughter. According to court documents, Jennifer Freeman had received a text message at around 11 p.m. Aug. 1, which moved a suspicious Earl Watson to check into her phone, says TMZ. Watson said that Jennifer became so angry that he took the phone she began to hit him "twice within the face with her right open hand." He claimed she then grabbed and bit into his right wrist, "breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood." After biting the wrist, Watson said Jennifer proceeded to chomp down on his chest, making him bleed once more. But she didn't stop there. Watson claims Jennifer even tried to attack him with an iron, but he was able to knock the object out of her hand before she could cause any more harm.

Jennifer Freeman, 24, is best known for playing the role of Claire Kyle in the ABC television sitcom "My Wife and Kids."

Earl and Jennifer fall right back in love again

Earl Watson, who played for the Indiana Pacers last season, appeared to have changed his mind about handing divorce papers over to his beautiful wife. Watson reportedly decided to withdraw his divorce petition on Thursday. According to the gossip news site, the two are reconciling with "plans for making their marriage work."

Earl Watson and Jennifer Freeman were married May 17, 2009, at TV producer Ed Weinberger's California mansion in Los Angeles. The couple's first child, daughter Isabella Amour Watson, was born on Oct. 16 last year.
