I'm not sure Robin Quiver's dinner is turning out to be everything she hoped it would be. During Mammary Lane today, they had a news update and Jason Kaplan told Langford that the celebrities who are going are Joan Jett, Maria Menounos (Access Hollywood), Juliette Huddy (Juliette of the talk show Robin appeared on recently), and Robin's coffee-enema buddy, Judith "freakin" Regan (as Jason put it.)
The only staff members going are Robin, Jason, and Tim Sabean! Jason explained that the staff isn't made up of millionaires so since the tickets begin at $350, not very many people can make it.
Jason also explained that when they announced the hotline on the show where people can donate, they got about 500 calls but only 10 were legitimate. You can imagine what the rest were.
So...do you think Robin thought this would be more embraced? Of course, it's possible that she will have a full house of non-celebs and non-Stern people. I hope they announce at some point how many people actually attended.

I think Robin cares more about having a fancy fabulous party where she can be the center of attention. If she really cared, she could donate to or volunteer at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen right here in NY. I cant think of anything more elitist then throwing a party to raise money for people you have never met in a place you will never go.
She's already taped everybody at the office with her guilt trips for all it's worth. I think this party is meant to suck in outsiders who still have money to throw around during this terrible recession...
