On the Howard 100 News' Week in Review on Friday, Steve Langford tracked down Jackie Martling and told him the news about Artie Lange walking off the show. He empathized with Artie explaining that the schedule is a killer (especially if drugs are involved.)
"It is a hard, hard thing to do that show. If you're a comedian and somebody who's used to working the other side of the clock, it is a tough adjustment. I never ever ever got used to it. It is so demanding and if you combine that with getting a little bit high, I'm sure it's impossible."
Jackie said that he wouldn't return because the hours are too crazy. Sounds like Artie's replacement maybe shouldn't be a struggling road comic. Of course, Sirius wouldn't be able to probably afford someone more established.
