I assumed he'd be off yesterday, but a full week of the history of the wack pack? really?
See the problem with these old shows isn't that the content is boring, but it is tough to switch back to listening to that delivery and timing after hearing everyone at Sirius. Howard talks faster and higher to jam in content in between commercials, and it just didn't age as well as I wouldve thought.
Its deflating when you go to turn on the radio to get your day rolling and you hear something from nearly 20 years ago. The idea that tricking people to tune in when your on vacation will lure them into listening anyway is inaccurate I think.
It must be weird to work in an environment where you hear about budget constraints, but howard's salary is hanging in the air. I say this only because it's tough to process as a listener.

Considering they just took a week off immediately after the whole Artie drama, I was pretty sure they would come back after Memorial Weekend.
I'm gonna have to agree with you. I listened to the show for a long time and I really have no desire to revisit the past 20 years. It just sounds weird when taken out of context and some of the references they make. But it sure calls attention to the fact that now they have much less skits and bits and a whole lotta talking about themselves and to each other.
