Benjy Bronk continues with the "Good Times" theme in his week-6 required video for the Paris Hilton BFF contest. He's still in the lead, and this week he gets a Mexican delivery guy to take on the role of a paparazzo in a skit with an Esther Rolle cutout playing Paris Hilton. Strange? Yes, but this is Benjy we're talking about. I find the whole thing quite humorous, and I hope Benjy goes all the way to the top! Here's his week-6 blog entry where he talks about his high school experience and the importance of baton twirling:

"Overall my highsool experience was a postive one...where I grew up, only 2 things mattered - the cotton mill and baton twirling. The twirlers were the only ones that had a chance of making it out of my town...everyone else was headed for 50 years in the mill...at the age of 4 I picked up my first baton, I twirled my little ass off ...I was an F'ing awesome twirler...I'll never forget the day I tried out to be on my high schools twirling team...that morning, my brother Laquanda, who had ben a star twirler 10 years earlier - handed me his baton - the very same baton Laquanda had gone to the state finals with...Laquanda could have gone on to be on any Junior College baton twirling team in the county...but, Laquanda got his girlfriend pregnant and to support his new family he had to drop out and work at the mill ...anyway, I took that baton and made the team!!!! to be on the High School twirling team in my town was to be a king...there was nothing like game day, dressed in my sequinned jacket and my special twirlinggloves....every boy dreamed of it..and every man remembered fondly the days when instead of being in the mill spinning cotton, he was on the field twirling his baton...Twirling was going to my ticket out of town...Twirling would give me a chance to get a scholarship to commmunity college...where I planned to study Food Services and then move to the city with a degree in hand and get a job at one of the big 3 ..Mcdonalds, Wendys or Burger King...
I typed this blog in before...and for some reason most of it accidentally got deleted...I'll put in some more info again in another blog entry but suffice it for now to say ..thanks to twirling my High School experience was a very positive one."
