After listening to the audio and watching recent episodes of the show I've came to the conclusion that he is back on drugs. Hes been doing more sleeping than eating recently. He was majorly paranoid and short-tempered Thursday when that all went down. Thats how you get when you haven't had a fix in awhile. I mean yeah, he used to fall asleep... but not like he's been doing in the passed 2 weeks or so.
I wish I knew what was going on or what will happen. Like I said before, it sounds like Howard has had enough of it. Maybe he wont allow Artie to come back even if he wants to. Who knows.

I'm no expert, but I agree that the paranoia sounded like something more than just someone who's hot-tempered. If it's true he's doing drugs again, I shudder to think what he's doing in Amsterdam. I really do.
I'm sick of Howard Stern using the emotions of his staff to make a program. This was the most evil of them all. Artie is a very sick man and you don't deliberately trip up a cripple.
Howard, you're too transparent. Your modus operandi is hanging out there for all to see, to try to break whoever is on your hot seat. Let's call it the George W. Bush syndrome, too much power and too little integrity. You disgust me.
It really is getting sort of disgusting. Especially when Howard and Robin lately both lately seem to be having a battle over which of the two is most evolved and understanding of the human condition. Howard is a manipulator. He knows Artie has had problems with deadbeats taking advantage of his kindness (weakness?) and he's chosen to exploit it. You can only do this for so long on a fucking national radio show before the person being goofed on daily feels theyre being made out to be a milktoast piece of shit that can be taken advantage of.
My best example would be say if before Howard got his old tapes back
Artie broke his balls relentlessly everyday about how he was being ripped off. I'm sure Howards skin would wear thin before the end of that first show. Poor judgement man. You made him look bad with the food, ok he could roll with that. Then, you thought you'd toss him being taken advantge of by bookies, teddy and whoever else into the mix...So, howd that work out for ya?
