The most remarkable tidbit I learned from an interview published by the Las Vegas Sun yesterday is that Artie Lange got paid half a million dollars for his unwritten book of true short stories, tentatively called "Too Fat to Fish." It's not surprising then that he's said recently that he will be telling a couple of stories not yet told on the air. After all, the publisher is probably banking on the Howard Stern audience buying the majority of the books. It also means that Artie has most likely agreed to stick around the show until at least the book is published. Since Anthony Boza, the guy that is writing the book with Artie, told Lisa G that he can't seem to get a meeting with him, I think Artie's going to be around the show for quite a while.
