I got the impression today that George Takei agrees to do any role offered to him. He had no idea about the Adam Sandler film that he's flying back to LA early for. Sandler's people only sent him one page of the script, and Takei didn't care enough to look up the synopsis anywhere. Isn't that strange? Wouldn't you think an actor would find out about a project before agreeing to do it? I guess because his part is so small he doesn't really care.

Looking up the movie on IMDB, it looks like it's already completed. It's coming out in June for crying out loud. I guess they just needed one last scene with to make it a great movie. Should be...interesting.

Well...it's George Takeii...it's not Harisson Ford. lol

George is well known for Star Trek. That's about it. And even then, look at how many scenes on Star Trek he's actually involved in. I don't think George considers himself an A-list celebrity and probably accepts lots of bit parts without knowing much about it.

He'll probably get a nice paycheck for speaking two lines...and, it's an Adam Sandler movie, I'm sure he knows that it's not going to be considered an offensive film and tarnish his career. He's on the HSS show for crying out loud...he's obviously not concerned with tarnishing his reputation...lol
