Girl-on-Stern says:
As I was listening to Robin skirt around the issue of dating Jim Florentine, I couldn't help but doubt how long this relationship could possibly last. Robin has gotten so highfalutin over the years with her trips to Europe, Broadway shows, EECP machine weekend getaways to LA, shore houses (I could go on and on) that I don't really see her staying with a low-brow comic after she gets her fill. Poor Jim. He's getting over such a tragedy, and I know that it's not going to last.

Yeah, Robin's going to bail as soon as Jimmy asks her to one of his gigs and she sees what that business is all about.

Sounds like Jim had to twist Robin's arm to get her to his gig at Caroline's. DogCademy Awards in return for Jim's life's work. Robin didn't really give her opinion of the show, but anyone who really cared for him would be proud of him for making it to Caroline's.

They are so mismatched. Neither one of them should have had to twist the other's arm to go to those events if they were compatible.

Caronline's doesn't count. It's the Cadillac of comedy clubs. The true test will be some little club in Topeka.
