Bubba the Love Sponge was saying yesterday that he doesn't feel that Artie Lange's relationship (or employment) with the Stern Show is irreparable. He said that if Artie came to Howard privately and said that he needs help and asks Howard for guidance, Howard would be there for him with open arms. Bubba feels that Howard will give Artie special consideration to remain on the show because of what a talent Artie is and what he means to Howard.

I'm starting to agree with Bubba. This is Howard Stern we're talking about. Sirius is not going to say that Artie isn't able to come back if Howard wants him to. There will probably be stipulations, though, like rehab and drug-testing. Bubba's blog from Thursday:

i am really concerned about this artie situation, i hope he takes this week off and sits down and makes the right decision. what ever that is, i hope he thinks about life without howard…….i would hate for him to walk away, only to realize a few weeks/months later that it was a huge mistake, if artie wants help howard will get it for him….believe me, i can tell you from first hand experience, howard is the most wonderful and caring person to work for/with…..
