For everyone upset about the Artie Lange fight replay being pulled, I listened to Bubba the Love Sponge's show and he gave some information about it "from the horse's mouth". He said that he's been in contact with almost everyone in New York.
He said that Howard Stern had the replay pulled because Howard is going to listen to it over the weekend. Then he will determine what will happen. Bubba went on to say that it's not something that the Stern show is proud of, it's over and done, and they don't want people commenting on it anymore. Bubba said that just because people subscribe doesn't mean they get what they want all the time and that there can be issues about liability.
Also, there won't be the normal replay on Sunday either.
What does everyone think about this explanation? Good excuse? Shitty excuse?

I always record the show because I can't pause it when I'm listening to it at work live. So, maybe if people want their money's worth, they should just record the shows.

Why should people paying for a service that they rely on have to go to the trouble of recording it in case the powers-that-be decide to censor it?
People should be able to get "their money's worth" with the product as it's delivered to them. If not, something is very wrong.

Well I subscribe to cable and I guess I should cancel since they don't repeat every show I want when I want it. You're lucky they replay anything.
Calm down everyone. Go on You tube and type in Artie Lange quits part 1 (then 2, and 3) You can then hear the replay. Sad day for the Stern show. Artie has become the best part of the show and it really looks like this is probably the end of him on the show. I hope not but it will be hard for Art to get out of this pickle. This is turning out to be way bigger than Artie throwing a CD at Sal... This is MAJOR. Lets all hope for his speedy return but deep down I think everyone knows this is probably the end. It's been a long time coming. This will most likely be known as the straw that broke the baby gorilla's back. We'll miss you Lange!! You gave us areason to wake up for the past 7 years! I think Howard is a big gay baby. He admits to having the mental metal of a
small stupid child and it shows here. It's fine that he love's Artie and want to treat
this tenderly but to deny people the hearing of the biggest show of the year is selfish
and will prove, I promise, lots of ill will. The grumbling will win and he, just like on that ISDN test show, will be forced by the fans to play this thing again. Howard no mind of his own so he will blow over on this. He is just so fucking fragile, emotionally, that his judgment is for shit. Big gay Howard.
Danica, I agree with you. But I'm just saying that by recording it, I can catch all nuances of programming because I don't always have the option to listen to it in replay. And after listening to my recording of the fight, I can see why they would pull it. There is alot of stuff they need to figure out concerning HR and legal issues and Howard has to cover all bases.
Also, I hope they give Artie tough love. Because he's fat, miserable and out of control. He was 100% wrong and he's right. He's not a good person.

I got a chance to listen to it on a different stern site, which has been deactivated since. Artie was literally crazy mad, his voice trembled and it was 100 percent real.
That fight was literally the most emotionally raw piece of entertainment i've ever seen.

Howard loves it when other shows have issues and doesn't hesitate to play them on the air when something happens. I'm sure if Studdering John were to go ape shit on someone during the Tonight Show, he would be all over it. Sucks though that when something happens on his show, he wimps out and wants to wash it all away. I recently got rid of Sirius because his show was just too boring. I thought it would be better on satellite but I've actually lost interest. I say bring back Artie!

He probably should leave...its a sinking ship with howards marriage and inevitable baby looming. I always thought Artie had a dead on feel of what the show was about...more than Howard even lately. ...
I mean honestly, why is he dedicating so much time to Eric the Midget....is this still funny to anyone? Is Gary the Retard funny still? Dancing with the Stars? American Idol? Not really. I'm begining to think theyre some sorta network tv payola involved the way he carries on with american idol and dancing with the stars. The guy watches tv, does a radio show and never goes anywhere its begining to show. Retirement seems like a better idea now than it did a few years ago.
