What an ass!! Works 4 hours a day, 4 days a week and still can't stay awake. I think the cards are turning on Artie and everyone is starting to see him for the mean, depressed asshole that he really is. He goes on and on about how generous he is all the time but his good intentions just seem to be self serving. He really seems to loathe the people around him (this includes Howard) and I believe that people are starting to notice. Lately I've noticed that neither Gary nor Robin have anything good to say about Artie and when asked outright they both skirt the issue a bit. Artie is his own worst enemy.

I have always been a big fan of Arties but as you stated, He has slowly been falling out of favor with me. When I seen how he looked on the Ronnie Deutcsh (however the hell you spell it!) show. I was stunned. He has completely played into the stereotypes of fat people being lazy and sloppy! Good post!

That thing about Gary and Robin not having anything nice to say about him is sucky but true. He used to have this persona of the 'cock-eyed saint', but I guess people realize you can only buy your way into people's hearts so many times.
BTW--I saw the old episode where Artie was talking about how after Sal fell off the stage in Florida, and then had to go to Disneyworld, Artie gave him $1000. Yet in the 10/31/2007 episode, when Sal brings up that Artie used that exchange as a way of exalting himself, Artie completely denied he ever brought it up on the air, and that Sal was the first to do it. Artie can be one condescending ass.

Artie makes the show better but he's acting like a loser drug addict. How do you work 4 days a week and still not be able to come into work and then when you do come in sleep???
